Using the create-a-template tool
1. Go to Create-a-template
The first thing you need to do is go to the create-a-template form which can be found here: create-a-template (subscribers only)
2. Enter information into each box
Select your Theme:
Upon arriving at the create-a-template form the first thing you will need to do is to select which Theme you would like to use for your template (you can switch themes later on after previewing your template).
Product Title:
Next you can enter a title for your listing, a brief descriptive title is best (no more than 6 or 7 words).
Product Description:
This is where you should try to sell your item to potential customers, here you can use the simple wysiwyg editor in this box to create attractive text and add images in the same way as you would write a word document.
To add an image to your description simply click the image button on the editor toolbar, input the url of the image (i.e. http://www.gameassassin.co.uk/image.jpg). Click ok and the image will appear.

Payment Information:
State the payment methods you accept in here.
Shipping information:
Enter details of your shipping times and costs in this box.
Contact information:
A brief bit of information about how customers can contact you will help gain trust.
Returns Policy:
Ebay themselves have stated that a clear returns policy are proven to increase the chances of you selling your item.
Although you are legally bound by the distance selling regulations to at least a 7 day cooling off period, we would advise you to accept returns for at least 2 weeks.

3. Form Results
Upon clicking the ‘get your template’ button at the bottom of the form, you will be taken to the form result page.
On this page you can:
Preview your template:
Click this link to view your new ebay template!
Copy template code:
If you are happy with the preview of your template then you just need to highlight and copy all of the code in the template code box.
Go to the ebay listing you are setting up, click the ‘html’ tab in the section entitled ‘describe the item you’re selling’ and paste the code into there.
Click back to the ‘standard’ tab to see your template previewed in ebay.
edit/create new ebay listing:
If you aren’t happy with some of the information in your template or maybe you want to change the theme then simply click the edit/create new ebay listing and you can make any changes you wish.
NOTE: All of information you enter into the create-a-template form will be saved so you can come back to it at anytime and continue with creating your listing.
Or if you want to create multiple listings for different items you can just change the product description and not have to write out the other sections which remain the same everytime.
